Kgosi urges women to stand together

26 Apr 2018

Kgosi Paul Motshwane of Gerald Estate has urged women to use their voices to stand together and help each other.

Speaking at the UCCSA women conference in Francistown, Kgosi Motshwane said women could use their fellowship groups in churches as a voice to help each other and those in the community. He noted that women in the community were faced with a lot of challenges, and urged them to lend them a helping hand.

He said as they were women anointed by God, they should also help and give others support in challenges they might be facing, adding that singularly they could not achieve anything.Furthermore, he urged women to educate children on taking responsibilities in life, especially the girl children because some found themselves in abusive relationships while some ended up being unemployed single parents.

He also implored parents not to pamper their children, but to teach them how to survive in the 21st century. The mayor of Francistown, Ms Sylvia Muzila applauded the church for hosting a conference for women.

Ms Muzila also encouraged women to continue with their fellowship clubs. She implored women to encourage men in churches to form their own fellowship groups so that they too could support and help one another.  ENDS
