Permanent Secretary to the President, Mr Carter Morupisi has announced appointments and redeployment with immediate effect   of senior public officers as follows:

(i) Mr Elias Magosi is appointed to the position of Deputy Permanent Secretary to the President in the Office of the President;

(ii) Ms Botshelo Mathuba is re-deployed to the position of Executive Director, Botswana Public Service College;

(iii) Ms Ruth Maphorisa is transferred as Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Health and Wellness;

(iv) Mr  Thuso Ramodimoosi is appointed on promotion to the position of Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration;

(v) Ms Kebonye Moepeng is transferred as Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Nationality, Immigration and Gender Affairs;

(vi) Dr Colley Monkge is appointed to the position of Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Basic Education;

(vii) Ms Grace Muzila is re-deployed to the position of Secretary for Development and Budget in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development;

(viii) Mr Molefi Keaja is re-deployed to the position of Deputy Director, Directorate of Public Service Management; 

(ix) Dr Obolokile Obakeng is transferred as Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Land Management, Water and Sanitation Services;

(x) Mr Thato Raphaka is transferred as Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources Conservation and Tourism;

(xi) Ms Banny Molosiwa is transferred to National Strategy Office as Deputy Director General;

(xii) Mr Thatayaone Dedede is appointed on promotion to the position of Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Land Management, Water and Sanitation Services;

(xiii) Mr Jimmy Opelo is transferred as Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Agricultural Development and Food Security;

(xiv) Mr Cornelius Dekop is re-deployed to the position of Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Green Technology and Energy Security; 

(xv) Mr Montshiwa Montshiwa is appointed on promotion to the position of Coordinator, Poverty Eradication in the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration;

(xvi) Mr Ernest Phiri  is appointed to the position of Deputy Permanent Secretary to Permanent Secretary to the President in the Office of the President;

(xvii) Dr Themba Mmusi is appointed on promotion to the position of Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Nationality, Immigration and Gender Affairs;

(xviii) Mr Tshepho Mophuting is appointed on promotion to the position of Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Land Management, Water and Sanitation Services;

(xix) Mr David Phekoetsile is re-deployed to the position of Head of Assessment Centre, Botswana Public Service College;

(xx) Ms Ofentse Modisa is appointed on promotion to the position of Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development;

(xxi) Ms Doreen Serumola is appointed on promotion to the position of Deputy Secretary, Independent Electoral Commission;

(xxii) Ms Tebogo Bagopi is re-deployed to the position of Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Research, Science and Technology;

(xxiii) Ms Nelly Senegelo is re-deployed to the position of  Senior Manager, National Strategy Office;

(xxiv) Mr Kealeboga Molelowatladi is transferred as Deputy Accountant General in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development;

(xxv) Mr Keabetswe Lesiela is transferred as District Commissioner from North East to Kasane;

(xxvi) Mr Imon Bogosi is re-deployed to the position of Director of Sports in the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development;

(xxvii) Mr Nathaniel Tlhalerwa is re-deployed to the Reforms Unit in the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration. ENDS
