Pan African Parliament committee in Midrand

The Pan African Parliament (PAP) members are attending the PAP Permanent Committee meetings that started on March 5-9 in Midrand, South Africa.
A press release from the National Assembly says prior to committee meetings, MP Mephato Reatile and Specially Elected MP Ms Bogolo Kenewendo attended a workshop which started on March 2-3 in Midrand, on the Arms Trade Treaty on Action to Prevent, Combat and Eradicate the Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons in all its implementation through increased parliamentary engagement and action in international process.
The release states that MP Phenyo Butale is attending under monetary and financial affairs while MP Joseph Molefe and MP Kenewendo are attending committee on trade, customs and immigration matters.
MP Buti Billy and Mr Reatile are attending committees on health, gender and people with disability and justice and human rights respectively.
The participating MPs are expected back home on March 10. ENDS
