Ralekgetho election March 24

Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Slumber Tsogwane has issued a writ for bye-election for Ralekgetho council ward in Moshupa-Manyana constituency.
A press release from Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) says the nominations of the candidates for the election in the said polling district be received on March 2 between 9am and 5pm at Ralekgetho Primary School.
The Election Instrument is in accordance with Section 154 (2) of the Electoral Act, (Cap. 02:09).
Any poll which may become necessary should be taken on March 24, it further says.
Ralekgetho council ward fell vacant after the death of Botswana Democratic Party councillor Gofentseone Rakala in January. Ends
