Chinese company offers training for locals

Touch Road International Holdings Group chairperson, Mr He Liehui has said 10 Batswana will benefit from the Non-Governmental Organisation’s Master’s Degree scholarships.
Mr He said in an interview that courses covered under the scholarship included finance, special economic zone development, international trading, culture and media, real estate and tourism.
He explained that the first semester would commence September 2018.
He also said his organization had partnered with Kedikilwe Foundation to donate toys to pupils, sponsor them for cultural exchange programme in China and assign Chinese teachers to introduce Chinese language in some of the primary schools which would be selected.
He noted that the scholarship was a way of giving back to the community in which they served as he already had some companies operating in Botswana among them Tomato Furniture which manufactured furniture locally.
Mr He noted that Touch Road International Holdings Group had branch offices in the United States of America, United Kingdom, Belgium, Djibouti, South Africa and Nigeria.
He explained that Touch Road International Holdings Group was a Chinese investment forum founded in 2008 with the aim to promote Chinese investment in Africa and it also helped to establish a strong bond between China and Africa, creating a foundation for further development of the relationship.
