Association donates to less privileged

Moabi Wa Tse Tsotlhe volunteer team has donated groceries, toiletries, school uniform and stationery to one Ms Kelebogile Maandaboro and her two school going children worth over P20 000.
Moabi Wa Tse Tsotlhe is a non-profit making association that was founded early 2017 with the aim of assisting under privileged people and the sick in the community.
Speaking during the hand over ceremony of the goods, Maun Agricultural Research senior procurement assistant, Mr Stephen Samaphodisa applauded Moabi Wa Tse Tsotlhe team for demonstrating love and their compassion towards the needy.
He said the donation was an indication that the association had a vision of assisting the under privileged and the ailing in the society and urged individuals and companies to join hands in helping the underprivileged.
He advised individuals and companies to support the needy in order to eradicate poverty among Batswana.
Area councillor, Mr Otlaadisa Ramokone commended the association for the contribution and encouraged them to continue with the good work, adding that government could not achieve everything alone.
He said for the association to grow, it should be associated with good deeds and not bad deeds that may tarnish its good reputation.
He said that there were many people in the society who needed support in order to lead dignified lives.
For her part, the managing director of Moabi Wa Tse Tsotlhe, Ms Mosadiatshipi Molathiwa appealed to the community, public and private organisations to support the association in achieving its mandate of giving hope to less privileged families.
She said all should respond positively to the President’s appeal of restoring dignity among the nation and she challenged all Batswana, who were capable of joining hands with government to assist the needy.ENDS
