A 10 - year - old Matlhakola Primary School pupil who went missing after a hail storm that hit the village over the weekend was found dead on November 28.

Assistant Superintendent Molemi Seipei said in an interview that the deceased and seven other boys were out playing when the hail storm started.

He said seven of those boys managed to arrive home with minor injuries while two of them did not reach home.

He said one of the missing boys was found on Sunday (November 26) in a critical condition and rushed to Palapye Primary Hospital where he was recovering.

The deceased was found  in a field near Matlhakola and was certified dead upon arrival at the hospital.

He urged parents to take care of their children and always ensure that they were home during bad weather conditions.

He said the hail storm also destroyed houses and broke windows at Matlhakola Primary School.adding that 11 classrooms were affected including the storeroom where 10 computers were kept. BOPA
