Minister of Employment, Labour Productivity and Skills Development says the main issues raised by employees of CA Sales Company during labour inspections were overtime and accommodation while on trips.
Answering a question in Parliament, Mr Tshenolo Mabeo said recent labour inspections conducted at CA Sales Company both in Gaborone and Francistown were in November 2017.

“From the employer’s side, the main concern raised was with regard to theft by employees especially drivers who are tasked with delivery of stock. The employer was advised to strengthen security measures for their goods,” continued Mr Mabeo.
He further informed Parliament that CA Sales currently employs 952 employees and these employees are in CA Sales in Gaborone, Francistown and others are attached to different shops in various parts of the country.
“All employees of CA Sales have written employment contracts. 811 of these employees are employed on permanent basis while 141 are fixed term contracts,” he concluded.
