In an effort to inspire learners to strive to become the best they could be in their studies, Motor Centre Toyota (Pty) Ltd has donated a cheque worth P1 000 to Maraka Junior Secondary School in Lotlhakane East near Kanye.

Speaking during the handover of the donation, sales executive Mr Benny Kgakge said the money would be used to buy prizes for outstanding learners with a view to reinforce a culture of excellence in the school.

Mr Kgakge has thus encouraged students to work hard adding that would attract more sponsors to come on board.

He also advised school authorities to approach several other companies requesting for more financial support.

For her part, the deputy school head, Ms Agnes Pusoetsile said through the gesture, the company was sowing a seed that would go a long way to benefit both students and the community at large in the not too distant future. BOPA
