Construction of the P161 million Mmathubudukwane Police Station stands at 43 per cent, says Mido Construction Company site agent, Mr Onkemetse Gaebolae.
In an interview, Mr Gaebolae said the project was going well and would be completed on time and schedule.
He said they were ahead of schedule by four per cent and that they expected to complete the project on the agreed time.
Mr Gaebolae said they had not yet experienced challenges in the construction of the police station except a few weeks ago when they had a shortage of bricks, but that the problem had been addressed.
The project commenced in January this year and is expected to be completed by January 2019.
He said the project consists of an administration block, 55 housing units, a holding cell, sport playgrounds, a gym and construction of inroads.
“The project is a fully fledged infrastructural unit with all the necessary services that will be enjoyed by the tenants together with the community,” he said. BOPA
