Ministry replaces Masunga Kgotla photocopier

Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Botlogile Tshireletso says there are currently 2 573 Headmen of Arbitration across the country and out of this, 80 are of permanent and pensionable establishment.
She said when responding to a question at Ntlo ya Dikosi that 1 828 were on allowances while 665 were not on allowances and were being considered to be paid allowances when funds permits in the next financial year.
Kgosi Kgomotso Boiditswe of Serowe Region had asked the minister to state the number of Headmen of Arbitration in Botswana.
On another issue, Ms Tshireletso told the house that her ministry was aware that for some time, the North East tribal office at Masunga did not have a functional photocopier, but cited that her ministry replaced the copier for Masunga kgotla on August 29.
Specially Elected Kgosi Thabo Maruje III had asked the minister to explain when her ministry would replace the photocopying machine at Masunga kgotla and if a whole district tribal office could run without a photocopying machine. BOPA
