The Member of Parliament for Tati East, Mr Samson Guma  says consultation with leaders of the community is very important.

Speaking at consultative workshop held for Tati East constituency leaders, Mr Guma noted that consultations should start with Dikgosi because they were very vital in decision making in the community.

He also encouraged politicians to always involve Dikgosi in issues that concern people because they were the leaders of the community thus working together for the people.

MP Guma also advised the leaders not only to consult but to implement their ideas and goals in the constituency, noting that they were still far behind in implementing the projects by utilising the constituency funds.

Commenting, Kgosi Louis Siviya complained that constituency projects were taken lightly and not given much priority hence the delay to implement anything.

He also advised that as leaders of Tati East Constituency they needed to review their project and prioritise.

Kgosi Mabalane Thaba attributed the delay in implementation to the late disbursement of funds to the village.

In response to some of the grievance raised, MP Guma advised that since the funds were with the local council they should go ahead and implement their projects. ENDS
