Mr Honnop said the bicycle donated were of different sizes and shape which could be used by all police officers.

He assured Scania Botswana that those bicycles would be used accordingly to benefit the community of Naledi as they will be able to swiftly attend to reports, pursue criminals and conduct patrols.

‘’Looking at the vastness of Naledi policing area and crime rate, one may view the gift of bicycles as small but to me as an individual and as a representative of the Botswana Police Service and government this is a precious and wonderful gift,’’ said Mr Letsholo.

He said Botswana Police Service mission is to provide a professional policing services in partnership with the community and continue to forge meaningful partnerships with business sectors in order to jointly prevent and detect crime.
