Minister appoints PPADB executive director

Minister of Finance and Economic Development, Mr Kenneth Mathambo has appointed Ms Tumelo Motsumi as executive director, Services with immediate effect.
A press release from PPADB says Ms Motsumi has a BA in Economics from the University of Botswana attained in 1997 and a Masters’ Degree in Economics from the University of Stellenbosch acquired in 2001.
She has undertaken Senior Management Development Programme with the University of Stellenbosch in 2014, trained in Project Management, Project Appraisal, Audit and Monitoring of procurement, Designing High
Performance and Sustainable Public Private Partnerships in Infrastructure, Health, Education, Security and Sports Sector Procurement and Contract Management procedures.
It further says she also trained in Supervisory and Management Skills, Emotional Intelligence, Customer Service and People Selection Skills.
Ms Motsumi’s career spans a period of 20 years, having started as an assistant economist with the then Botswana Technology Centre in 1997, where she progressed to the level of senior economist before joining the Public Enterprices and Evaluation.
She joined PPADB in 2008 as a principal procurement specialist in the services division and was appointed to the position of manager, Services Division in 2013. BOPA
