Police appeal for help
09 Oct 2017
Nata police are once again appealing to the public to help in identifying an unknown man who was found in the bushes between Manxotae and Sepako villages on September 28 last year.
In an interview with BOPA, Nata station commander Superintendent Otsile Fane said the middle aged man was found by a passerby who then notified the police a few days before BOT50 celebrations last year.
Superintendent Fane said the man was deaf and dumb, hence they had to engage health officials to assist, who in turn referred him to Jubilee hospital where he had been staying since the day he was found.
Unfortunately, superintendent Fane said a year later, his stay at Jubilee had not borne any fruits as no one had come forth with information of who the man was and where he came from.
To make matters worse, superintendent Fane said the man did not know sign languages.
The police have not received any report of a missing person either. BOPA
