The Poverty Eradication Unit Coordination (PECU) will host a Poverty Eradication Best Practice Expo today.

A press release from the Office of the President states that the event will take place in the parking lot between the Office of the President and Ministry of International Affairs from 8am.

The release says President Lieutenant Gen. Dr Seretse Khama Ian Khama together with his Cabinet and senior government officials will tour stalls to appreciate the work done by Poverty Eradication beneficiaries.

The release further states that all the 16 districts will be represented at the expo.

The Poverty Eradication Unit is mandated to provide a coordination mechanism and enabling environment for effective implementation of poverty eradication initiatives, policies and programmes, empower the poor to participate effectively in poverty eradication programmes as well as strengthen institutions and systems for poverty eradication to ensure a life of dignity for all Batswana.
