BITC takes local manufacturers to FACIM

The Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC) will take eight local manufacturers, from different sectors of the economy, to participate at the Maputo International Trade Fair from August 28 to 3 September, 2017.
A press release from BITC says the eight companies are; Botswana Meat Commission, Ditec Mobile Botswana, Ms Ntshingane (Women in Business Botswana), Makoro Brick, Actfit Architectural solutions,
Arona Natural Foods and Impact Genetics. The annual international trade event, called, “Feira Agro-Pecuaria, Comercial and Industrial de Mozambique (FACIM) presents a multi-sectoral meeting point for producers, investors, importers, exporters and buyers.
The fair, the release says will allow participating companies an opportunity to explore market opportunities and increase international market share.
Participating at the event will also drive promotion of Botswana products in the international markets for possible realistic export opportunities and strengthen trade relations on the potential supply in the economic integration of Mozambigue and Botswana. Organised by IPEX (Intituto para a Promoção de Exportacões), the FACIM Maputo International Fair attracts over 85 000 visitors with a total of 32 countries taking part in 2016.
Through this mission, as per the release, BITC intends to; expose Botswana products on the international map, provide market access and trade opportunities. Ends
