Expo to boost poverty eradication beneficiaries

Francistown and North East Districts will jointly host a Poverty Eradication Expo on July the 26-27 at the agricultural market near Francistown City Council (FCC) fire station.
In an interview, District Poverty Eradication coordinator, Mr Louis Mlilo said the objectives of the expo is to give the beneficiaries of the poverty eradication a chance to showcase their products.
Under the theme Eradicating Poverty Through Empowerment of Beneficiaries to Change Perception, he noted that the expo would also give the beneficiaries an opportunity to market and sell their products.
Mr Mlilo further explained that it would also give beneficiaries a chance to network and benchmark on other beneficiaries and customers on a larger scale.
He added that the expo would also give Batswana knowledge of how and where they could access their services.
Mr Mlilo encouraged Batswana to come and support the expo because with their support they could grow and be able to stand on their own and have sustainable lives.
The exhibitions will include fashion design, leatherwork, bakery, upholstery, welding, beauty parlour, services, horticulture, tree backyard nursery, live animals, guinea fowls, food preservation and phane harvesting and packaging. ENDS
