TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF INDEPENDENCE AVENUE ROAD

The Independence Avenue road will be temporarily be closed from July 7, 2017 at 14:00hrs till July 9, 2017.
A press release from Gaborone City Council says the road will be closed from the robots by museum, passing in front of Council building to the robots (traffic lights) by Trinity Church on the aforementioned dates.
"One of the activities for President’s day celebrations is to host Street exhibition and Market day on July 8, 2017 and the venue is the road passing in front of Council Offices in the main mall, hence the temporary closure," explains the release.
The road, as per the release, will be open for use on July 9, 2017 at 14:00hrs.
The public is requested to use alternative routes and GCC apologises for any inconvenience this might cause.
