155 vacant posts under tribal admin

Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Ms Botlogile Tshireletso has informed Ntlo Ya Dikgosi that the Department of Tribal Administration has 155 vacancies brough about by retirements, promotions, resignations, deaths of officers and upgrading of customary courts.
She said efforts to fill the vacancies were advanced, and that 46 appointment letters had been issued, 59 submitted to create positions for upgraded courts and for implementation of the new competency based career path for the department.
She added that 47 positions would be filled by this month (July).
Kgosi Rapelang Khuwe of Tutume region had wanted to know if there were some vacancies within the Department of Tribal Administration and when they would be filled. ENDS
