Sir Ketumiles funeral ongoing

The state funeral of the late second president of Botswana, Sir Ketumile Masire is ongoing.
Sir Ketumile's family, President Lt Gen. Seretse Khama Ian Khama and other heads of state including President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe as well as other dignitaries from other countries are gathered in Kanye to bid the late second president Sir Ketumile Masire farewell.
Former president Thabo Mbeki of South Africa is also among the people in Kanye attending the late Sir Ketumile’s funeral.
Cabinet ministers, the international community, villagers, traditional leadership, friends, politicians are also in Motebejane ward to pay their last goodbyes to the former statesman.
Civil servants have also been released to attend the funeral. ENDS
