Sir Ketumile Masire in hospital

The Masire family wishes to inform Batswana that Rre Rra Gaone has been hospitalised in Gaborone for surgery . He is listed in stable condition in ICU. Doctors advise that former President Masire is responding positively to treatment.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the public and well-wishers for their continued prayers and support for our father.
The Office of the Former President thanks the media and the public for their cooperation in respecting the privacy of Sir Ketumile and his family.
