Fare increase allegations untrue

The Ministry of Transport and Communications says there has been no increase of both bus and taxi fares.
A news release from the ministry has rebutted as false allegations that had been trending on social media that public transport fares will be increased today.
The release further states that the public will be informed officially in the event that fare changes are made.
