Peleng Kgosi, Ms Tshegofatso Setumo has applauded the directors of Greenland Company, Mr Mohammed Acam and Mrs Farana Begum for donating blankets to the needy.

Speaking during a meeting recently, Kgosi Setumo praised the company directors for upholding the compassionate, just and caring pillar by giving with open hearts and spirits.

She said it was important to recognise what the company had done because they showed that they were not in Botswana for profit making purposes only.

Kgosi Setumo urged recipients to embrace the gifts and take good care of them.

For his part, Mr Acam said they gave out more blankets because it was already winter.

He said the company was persuaded by the good heart Batswana had when it comes to the needy.

He promised that they would give 50 blankets annually to the needy.

One of the recipients, Ms Mmakgele Mmantshonyane expressed her gratitude to the company for the gesture. ENDS
