Minister Tsogwane in New York

The Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Slumber Tsogwane is in New York attending the 16th session of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (PFII).
A press release from the ministry states that the forum held under the theme: Tenth anniversary of the UN Declaration on the Indigenous Peoples: Measures taken to implement the declaration, is scheduled to end on May 5.
Mr Tsogwane is accompanied by senior government officials from the local government ministry and the team is expected back home on April 30. ENDS
