Khama appreciates Nyusi visit

President Lt Gen. Dr Seretse Khama Ian Khama on April 24 welcomed his Mozambique counterpart on a three-day State Visit to Botswana.
Welcoming President Filipe Nyusi at Office of the President, President Khama said the visit was a testimony to the ‘excellent’ relationship and level of cooperation the two countries had shared for a number of years.
He said the visit accorded them an opportunity to renew the bilateral relations adding they should uphold the legacy left by the countries’ past leaders.
For his part, President Nyusi said he was happy with the level of cooperation the two countries shared adding economic cooperation should also be strengthened.
The two countries signed memorandum of agreement to cooperate in various areas such as agriculture and tourism. ENDS
