Goora-Sebego ward headman of arbitration, Kgosi Faruk Tshosa has called on his counterparts to reassess their leadership solidarity in order to come up with resolutions where there is need.
Speaking during a kgotla meeting addressed by the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kanye South, Mr Abram Kesupile on Wednesday at Goora-Sebego ward, Kgosi Tshosa said constituents needed reliable and respectable front-runners.
He said it was of paramount importance for the MP, councillors and dikgosi to show support for each other, especially that they were serving the interests of the public.
He added that their unity would provide better results.
He said the meeting was a public affair and that councillors and other community leaders should attend.
He argued that the area councillor should be the first to know when the MP was visiting their area in order to enhance developments.
He said the trio could build good governance if they work as a team, not only during their term but beyond. end
