Khama meets diplomats

President Lt Gen. Dr Seretse Khama Ian Khama, Minister of International Affairs and Cooperation, Dr Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi and Dean of Botswana’s Envoys, Mr Roy Blackbeard attended a four-day annual conference, which was held under the theme: 50 Years of Botswana’s Foreign Policy: Celebrate, Reflect and Advance.
A press release from the ministry states that the conference is a consultative forum between the Ministry of International Affairs and Cooperation and key public and private sector stakeholders, where Botswana’s diplomatic envoys are briefed on major development issues, including government programmes, national projects and policy initiatives.
