Permanent Secretary to the President, Mr Carter Morupisi has announced promotions and transfers of some senior government officials. The appointments, transfers and re-deployments are as follows;

(i) Mr Kabelo Ebineng is appointed to the position of permanent secretary in the Ministry of Transport and Communications with effect from date of assumption of duty;

(ii) Ms Nkagisang Reaitsanye is appointed on promotion to the position of deputy permanent secretary- corporate services in the Ministry of Health and Wellness with effect from April 1, 2017;

(iii) Ms Tebogo Motshome is appointed on promotion to the position of director (Europe and the Americas) in the Ministry of international Affairs and Cooperation with effect from April1,  2017;

(iv) Ms Lesedi Mojela is appointed on promotion to the position of manager- corporate services (human resources and administration) in the Ministry of International Affairs and Cooperation with effect from April  1, 2017;  

(v) Ms Atlarelang Solomon is appointed on promotion to the position of manager,-corporate services (human resources and administration) in the Ministry of Basic Education with effect from date of assumption of duty;

(vi) Mr Mosegofatsi Bose is appointed on promotion to the position of land board secretary (Kgatleng) with effect from date of assumption of duty;

(vii) Ms Rose Sennanyana is transferred from the Ministry of Employment, Labour Productivity and Skills Development to the Ministry of Agricultural Development and Food Security as deputy permanent secretary- corporate services with effect from April 1, 2017;  

(viii) Ms Bellinah Baker is transferred from the Directorate on Corruption and Economic Crime to the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Green Technology and Energy Security as senior manager-corporate services with effect from April 1, 2017;

(ix) Ms Maduo Tshoswane is appointed on promotion to the position of manager (procurement) in the Ministry of Basic Education with effect from April 1, 2017;

(x) Mr Senata Rutherford is transferred from the Southern District Council, Kanye to the Selebi Phikwe Town Council as deputy town clerk with effect from April 1, 2017;

(xi) Mr Shadrack Selelo is redeployed as deputy town clerk (technicial) in Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development with effect from April 1, 2017;  (xii) Mr Robert Letlole is transferred from Francistown City Council to Central District Council as deputy council secretary (technical) with effect from April 1, 2017 ENDS
