30 Mar 2017
Owner of Home Dojo Fitness, Mr Fish Masilo says health is a broad aspect that people should take into consideration and give it first priority at all times.
Speaking during Tribal Administration wellness day in Peleng kgotla held under the theme ‘Our health our pride’, where Lobatse Senior Secondary School also received a donation of sanitary towels under a theme ‘Help a girl child’ on Friday, Mr Masilo encouraged residents to have the willingness to improve how they eat, communicate and also how their living environments are, for the betterment of their healthy living.
He said healthy living doesn’t mean buying expensive food in large quantities, neither does it mean putting on golden clothes, what matters most is, preparing clean food in a clean environment and utensils, and also staying away from indulging in alcohol and drugs to prevent weakening the body.
Mr Masilo added that exercising is a vital thing to do in order to strengthen the body for longer living.
It is very important how your attitude is to yourself and other people, because sometimes how you talk can affect someone else’s health, respect is vital.
A Guidance and Counseling teacher from Lobatse Senior Secondary School Mr Willington Lekgothu expressed his gratitude to the efforts of the administration and other companies, including FNB, Matimela, town mayor and Motswedi Clinic for contributions of the 229 packets of sanitary towels they donated to the school.
Mr Lekgothu continued to say the help came at the right time of need. ENDS
