The associate director of Software Application and Information Solutions (SAIS) Mr Yuvaraj Chinnasamy says it is crucial for the general community to join forces and restore the lives of flood victims.

Mr Chinnasamy said during donation of food humpers, clothes and blankets to flood victims in Kanye on Tuesday that although flooding is bad by all accounts his company was more than ready to assist victims.

Mr Chinnasamy said also the gesture formed part of SAIS social responsibility to assist people who have been hit by natural calamities.

His wish was to collaborate with Southern District Council in future social endeavours including adopting a school within the district to enhance computer literacy.

The Deputy Chairman for Southern District Council, Mr Thabiso Chabala, applauded SAIS for the generous gesture which he said was a blessing.

As such Mr Chabalala wished SAIS to grow exponentially and continue with their generous spirit.

He said beneficiaries should deem themselves blessed especially that they have been selected among other potential victims.

Software Application and Information Solutions is a software development and consulting organization which has been around for the past 17 years.

Besides the Gaborone branch, SAIS is found in Zambia, South Africa, United States of America and India. ENDS
