Molao attends education meeting in Senegal

Assistant Minister of Tertiary Education, Science, Research and Technology, Mr Fidelis Molao has left for Dakar, Senegal, to attend the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA) 2017 Triennale on Education and Training in Africa.
The meeting started yesterday and will end on Friday.
A news release from the ministry states that ADEA’s Triennale is the most important global event on education and training in Africa.
The meeting brings together the continent’s powerful policy makers in education, representatives of development agencies, the academia, private sector and civil society, among others, to share experiences and ideas with a view to promoting innovative policies and practices aimed at driving and achieving sustainable transformation of Africa through education and training, states the release.
The release states that during the last Triennale in Ouagadougou in 2012, four heads of state, a prime minister, special envoy of a head of state and over 40 ministers of education, economy, health, youth and labour from all over the continent were among those who attended the forum.
Regarding the ongoing 2017 ADEA Triennale, at least five African heads of state and over 40 ministers in charge of education, finance and youth are expected to attend. ENDS
