Ba Isago donates to special needs class

Ba Isago University community outreach programme recently donated toiletries to a special needs class at Motetshwane Primary school.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Mr Moses Matabane, a Bachelors of Science Degree in Early Childhood student at Ba Isago University, said the act was a sign of partnership between the institution public entities.
The donation, he said sought to improve socio-economic status of the children, adding that government was committed to see every child having access to education.
Mr Matabane said true to their value of Botho, Ba Isago University appreciated the children living with disabilities, hence the support, which he said was critical to academic success, employing the vernacular adage, setshwarwa ke ntsa pedi ga se thata.
Mr Matabane called on other stakeholders to assume their positions in educating the less fortunate.
Motetshwane school head, Mr Ontiretse Kenaope said caring for children with special needs required patience and love.
The school has four special class teachers and four special aid teachers.
Ba Isago students welfare and support services dean, Ms Agnes Mohwasa urged Ba Isago students to continue supporting people living with disabilities. ENDS
