Japan to train officials on public service system

Embassy of Japan in Botswana will conduct training of 23 human resource management officials from government of Botswana on the public service system through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
A news release from the Embassy of Japan states that training will be conducted in Japan from March 6 to March 15 2017. The release further states that most of the participants are from the Directorate of Public Service Management DPSM and Botswana Public Service College.
“After all, the participants take lectures focusing on the outline of the public service system of Japan, the group will be divided into two sub-groups for the different themes; the initial entrance assessment for public officials and the remuneration system for public officials,” the release states.
The release further states that officials of National Personnel Authority, which is responsible for human resource management of the Government of Japan, will take charge of the lectures on this training. ENDS
