The Public is informed that the selection process for the 2017 Form 4 placement is complete.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Basic Education, all 2017 Form 4s should report to their respective schools on Tuesday 21 February 2017.
The release however states that all those admitted as boarders should report on Monday February 20, 2017.
Information on students’ placement is expected to be available in all secondary schools and regional education offices countrywide on Wednesday February 15, 2017.
Further, the Ministry states that it has introduced a Short Messaging Service (SMS)  notification accessible from all the three local mobile phone service providers.
To access student placement via SMS, students are advised to compose the message by sending Form4 (space) CentreNumber (space) CandidateNumber (space) CandidateSurname to 16688.
The Public is also advised to note that, the criterion used for the placement was based on catchment areas and the need to balance school enrolments, therefore all students transfers can be done at school level. ENDS
