Ms Kruger also Thema/Motswedi ward councillor implored PLLCI members and other community members to give willingly so that God would multiple their blessings.

She said a church should take a leading role in fulfilling the word of God by reaching out to the less fortunate in the community by clothing and feeding them.

Furthermore, she lauded them for following the Presidential appeal on assisting the less privilege as well as embracing the Vision 2016 pillar of a compassionate and caring nation.

Moreover, she implored them to extend their noble gestures to other areas across the breadth of the country and even consider increasing their scope by building house to others provided funds permitting.

When giving the objectives of the day, Apostle Kingsley Kawana said they were fulfilling the pledges they made before Lobatse leadership sometime last year around November 2016.

He said they promised them that the church will provide food to the needy people in Lobatse and surrounding areas.

He mentioned that currently the church was providing monthly food groceries to eight families in Lobatse and four families in Tlokweng.

He encouraged people to make use of their counseling services as they could be able to address the societal illness that is destroying the society such as drugs and substance abuse by youth as well as family reconciliation issues to build families and minimise rising divorce rates.

Earlier in her welcome remarks, deputy court president for Peleng Customary Court, Kgosi Tshegofatso Setumo, lauded PLLCI for their noble gesture by donating food to the needy in their area.

Kgosi Setumo said love conquers all, therefore she urged them to let love lead them in every aspect of their lives to change other people’s lives for the better.

PLLCI donated food hampers and toiletries worth P3 000 to 10 needy families living in Lobatse. ENDS
