Speaking in a kgotla meeting at Ramotswa main kgotla recently, Mr Rantuana said the National Development Plan (NDP 11) entails other programmes to develop Ramotswa village especially the Economic Stimulus Programme (ESP).
He cited the paving of Magope to Boatle road of which the contractor is already on site and added that the road will provide access for Magope residents.
Mr Rantuana said Magope residents complain about shortage of water, lack of access roads and high criminal activities in their village section.
Therefore, he said any development coming their way is welcome as it addresses the core of their challenges.
He said still under NDP 11, A1 road from Game City to Boatle will be upgraded into a dual carriage road, but noted that the project has not yet commenced because of tedious tendering processes.

However he regretted the bridge which was done by the South African government did not employs as many Batswana as they had envisaged adding that only less than 10 people were engaged for the bridge construction.
The MP said the projects that are still behind include the Water Treatment Plant at Boatle which is due to delayed payments from the government to the contractor.
Mr Rantuana urged the residents to work hard whenever they are given tasks to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
He pleaded with the public servants to see to it that they assist the public accordingly and ensure that they are productive in their area of employment.
For her part, Kgosi Mosadi applauded Ramotswa residents for behaving accordingly during the festive season.
Kgosi Seboko however said parents should unite with them as village leaders and the police to fight the youth groups that terrorise each other and are beginning to emerge in the village.
She urged the parents to talk to their children and try to speak some sense into them about this unacceptable behaviour.
The meeting was held by the MP to brief the residents about the developments scheduled for their village, to inform them about the projects that were successfully done and to take views of the village residents to the next sitting of parliament. BOPA
