President Khama gifts residents

President Lt Gen. Dr Seretse Khama Ian Khama yesterday donated hampers to residents of Mothabaneng.
President Khama has been donating food hampers to the villages of Mothabaneng and Lentswelemoriti in the Bobirwa Sub-district over the years.
Acting private secretary in the State House, Mr Tshupo Pusoetsile said in an interview that the President has donated 118 food hampers to the elderly, orphans and destitute persons. The beneficaries had been assessed by social workers in the area.
He said the President also gave hampers to 1 100 children and primary school pupils, adding this was now a yearly event. ENDS
