He said BDF has shown interest to recruit Ngurungu number one goal keeper Basimanebotlhe Moilwa and the defender Moagi Sechele but Ditlhakanyane stated that Moilwa has been officially released and currently training at his new team while negotiations with Sechele are on going.
On the other side, Tafic also intends to recruit Sechele and middle fielder, Omogomoditswe Bauleng while Orapa United is busy negotiating with Botshelo Mafoko.
Ditlhakanyane said they players are still on contract with them but pointed out that although they needed them, they could not stop them to go for greener pastures.
“If their negotiations go well, we would be forced to replace them basing on the recommendations by our head coach,” he added.
He also emphasised the need to beef up the defence department especially the midfield, noting that in the first round of the league, their players complained of muscle pulls hence they struggled to complete most of their games.
Ditlhakanyane called on supporters to continue suporting the teams, assuring them that Ngurungu still remained the team of choice as the management was currently working on its transformation.
He urged supporters to continue with their unweavering support to ensure the team remained in the premiership league.
He said the boys had started training and complained that playing ground still remained a serious challenge to the team as the one they were using was flooded due to the continuous showers.
He saidtheir access to Maun Sports Complex was now a challenge as they had been informed that the artificial turf at the stadium was old as it had exceeded its life span.
He said now they officials at the stadium limit the usage of the playing ground in order to maintain the turf. BOPA
