Fishing season closes

The public is informed that the fishing season is closed as of January 1, 2017 to February 28, 2017.
A press release from the Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources Conservation and Tourism says the public is advised to declare any fish and fish products caught in Botswana water bodies currently in their possession and destined for commercial use including export with the nearest Department of Wildlife and National Parks office by today.
It further says any fish and fish products not declared by the said date will be deemed illegal and anybody transporting fish and fish products will be required to produce proof of acquisition from a legal source. ENDS
