Mabolwe border post doing well

Councillor for Mabolwe, Semolale and Gobojango (MASEGO) villages, Mr Manuel Marole says Mabolwe Border Post is doing well since it was opened in June last year,
Councillor Marole explained in an interview with BOPA.
He said businesses in Bobirwa villages have been boosted as people from Zimbabwe are crossing the border to come and buy food, building materials and fuel in Bobirwa villages especially in Bobonong.
Mr Marole said transport businesses are also boosted as four minibuses which were transporting people from Bobonong to Mabolwe have now increased to 10.
He said the crime rate in MASEGO villages especially illegal border crossing has also gone down.
Mr Marole said in a month, a total of 2000 to 2300 people cross the border to and from Zimbabwe coming to Botswana while some proceed to South Africa.ENDS
