The National Disaster Management Office (NDMO) advises members of the public to excise caution during the ongoing rainfall being experienced around the country.
NDMO said through a statement on Sunday that people must be vigilant when crossing fast flowing streams and rivers as ongoing rainfall continues to cause flash flooding in some places.
NDMO further encouraged parents staying in areas affected by floods not to allow their children to go near flood waters.
The office advised people to contact the local District Disaster Management Committees, Dikgosi or the nearest police stations should they need assistance due to flooding in their areas.ENDS
