Fourteen beneficiaries graduate

Fourteen poverty eradication beneficiaries from Good Hope Sub-District recently completed a six week hairdressing course at Ramatea Vocational School in Kanye.
Speaking during the graduation, Good Hope Sub-District Council, assistant district commissioner, Mr Innocent Maotwe encouraged graduates to be professionals at all times and promote their businesses.
Mr Maotwe mentioned communication and listening skills, trustworthiness, discretion, personal hygiene as some skills needed for one to be successful in business.
He advised them to never give up and always strive to be the best in business.
Mr Maotwe also applauded graduates for having not dropped out during the duration of the course.
One of the graduates, Ms Khumo Ditiro, thanked government for the support given to them throughout the learning period.
Programme coordinator, Ms Theresa Motsi said the objective of the course was to offer junior certificate leavers who did not do well to continue with their education.
The course also extends the same assistance to disadvantaged children. ENDS
