Fidel Castro dies

Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Botswana informs the nation of the passing on of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
According to a press release from the embassy, the council of state of the Republic of Cuba has declared nine days of national mourning from November 26 to December 04, 2016.
The release states that all public activities and performances would be suspended, and the national standard will fly at half-mast at all public buildings and military establishments during the period of national mourning.
Furthermore there will be a condolences book opened at the Cuban embassy in Gaborone starting on Tuesday November 29, 2016 to Saturday December 03, 2016 from 09:00 hours to 18:00 hours. ENDS
