P300 000 for cost repairs at Lempu

The Assistant Minister of Basic Education, Mr Moisiraele Goya has told Parliament that he is aware that one boys hostel at Lempu Junior Secondary School was burnt by students.
He highlighted that the ministry in conjunction with Letlhakeng Sub-district and the Department of Social Work, provided counselling to 15 affected students and the parents of the students concerned.
He said the cost of the repairs is estimated at P300 000. MP for Takatokwane, Mr Ngaka Ngaka had asked the minister if he was aware that some of the buildings got burnt at Lempu Junior Secondary School and if so, what measures were in place to assist students.
He further asked how many students were affected and what the costs were. ENDS
