A young gospel artiste, Omphemetse Titties has released an album.

Born and raised in Kolonkwaneng, the artiste said his new album features eight tracks, aimed to motivate, educate and help listeners on how to overcome everyday life challenges.

He has been raised to appreciate performing arts as he was exposed to music at an early age and was also encouraged to tell stories through music writing.

Titties whose stage name is ‘Action’ and living with disability said he uses his music to share the joy of faith through it with people across the world.

The founder and lead singer of youth gospel group called Bokang Gospel Choir noted that music is a form of art that he uses to express his feelings, the struggles that he went through, his prolonged illness that ended him in a wheelchair, the reaction that he got from the society and how the gospel gave him a hope and what he believes God has done for him.

Titties said, “My music has a big a impact on people’s daily lives, it will change the world around us because of the positive influence it carries and that truly makes something worth dedicating a life to,” he noted.

Action, who is a singer, songwriter and composer said he recorded his album last year August and he only released it this month, adding that it took him time to release the album because he released a single first as a way of marketing the album.

“I released a single called Bomme Basadi as a way of marketing my album, I have performed it sometime last year at BTV breakfast show. Later on, I shot a video to popularise my song as part of a marketing strategy and it was even played on Melodi ya Kgalaletso, a Botswana Television gospel programme,” he noted.

He performed in most of events held in Tsabong for free to gauge how people would react to his song.

He said his performance with Bokang Gospel Choir helped him gain experience on stage performance and marketing strategy, which assisted him in putting together a quality product.

“The experience that I gained worked for me and the branding and mastering can tell that indeed the album is a full package that one must have,” he added.

Action has called everyone to buy his album because it is amazing in all its musical arrangements and song content, and it is his only source of income.
The album is set to be launched on November 25 at Batshweneng Guest House. ends
