Khama attends Bi-National Commission session in SA

President Lt Gen. Dr Seretse Khama Ian Khama will tomorrow (November 11) attend the third session of Bi-National Commission (BNC) between Botswana and South Africa.
A press release from the Ministry of International Affairs and Cooperation says the BNC is an annual high-level platform established in August 2012 to strengthen and deepen bilateral relations and strong bonds of friendship between the governments of Botswana and South Africa.
The realease states that President Khama and President Jacob Zuma will discuss a wide range of issues such as mutual interest across the political, economic, social, justice, and defence and security sectors.
The release further says the summit will be preceded by a ministerial and a senior officials meeting.
President Khama is accompanied by Minister of International Affairs and Cooperation, Dr Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi, Defence, justice and security minister Mr Shaw Kgathi, transport and communications minister, Mr Kitso Mokaila, investment, trade and industry minister, Mr Vincent Seretse, nationality, immigration and gender affairs minister, Mr Edwin Batshu, tertiary education, research, science and technology minister, Dr Alfred Madigele and Minister of Land Management, Water and Sanitation Services, Mr Prince Maele.
The delegation also includes senior government officials. The President and his delegation are expected to return the same day. ENDS
