Cash More helps raise artistes

Cash More Productions is a music promotions company set up last year by Thabo Mmeke aka DJ Cash More, Tebogo Setlhantsweng, Ditiro Galebolale aka Ditronomy with the aim of enhancing entertainment industry in Bobirwa.
Cash More Productions actively aims to help young upcoming artistes by negotiating on their behalf music gigs and arts in the area until they can sustain themselves in the industry.
In an interview, DJ Cash More said the stable was under his administration and also acts as the brand manager, as well as being assisted by Setlhantsweng who is a brand promoter while Ditronomy is treasurer.
He said the stable consists of artistes like; Justeezy, Izondas, Pak and many others and the stable was not limited to one genre but includes many other genres.
DJ Cash More said their partners VGK Studios and Elvivo Mega Studios produce music to their upcoming artistes because the studio covers all types of genres.
He said the stable has managed to field five of its members in Francistown for President’s Day Celebrations this year while Gaelame Theatre Group competed in Palapye in the arts competions.
Two artistes, Justeezy and Molly D made it to the top 10 selection while Gaelame also did well, he said.
The highlight of the stable was when Izondas made it to the BOT50 finals.
DJ Cash More lamented lack of sponsorship to their brand, saying it was a major concern, stating that support given to the artistes in the area was not good enough.
He also decried the duration given to them when they perform at shows stating that it was short and hinders their growth.
Meanwhile he was pleased that area Member of Parliament for Bobonong, Shaw Kgathi has offered to sponsor the Bobirwa Meat Festival scheduled for December as a way of promoting upcoming artistes in the area.
The festival he said would help unearth talent in the area.
To make the event more enthralling, it will also invite other established artistes from other areas outside Bobirwa.
At the festival artistes will share a stage with musicians like Mlesho Kai 1, ATI, Zolasco, and Selibe Phikwe’s finest DJ’S and many others expected to grace the show.
Meantime brand promoter Setlhantsweng has implored the government and other stakeholders to sponsor Cash More Productions so that it can fulfil its dreams.
He encouraged people in the area to continue supporting Bobirwa artistes to ensure growth in the entertainment industry in the sub district.
Mr swana to attend the event in large numbers as it was expected to be a massive event. ENDS
