PPC Botswana expo starts today
27 Oct 2016
The third PPC Botswana Builders’ and Construction Expo begins today at Airport Junction Mall.
Speaking at a press briefing Wednesday, the expo bookings manager, Mr Christian Ernest, said the event, which would last till Sunday, would see different building construction companies, property developers and relevant government ministries coming together to show case their services.
Mr Ernest, meanwhile, explained that the objective of the expo was to create a platform for construction industry players to showcase their services in a manner that would positively influence sales of building and construction material among diverse consumers like new home owners.
Close to 80 exhibitors, which is a slight decline from last year’s number, will take part at this expo and these include contractors, banks, property developers and hardware merchants.
This expo, which is co-sponsored by PPC Cement, Builders Warehouse and Airport Junction, will however see Builders Warehouse conducting a painting exhibition, which will entail mixing of paints to achieve a desired composition.
According to Builders Warehouse replenishment manager Mr Metlha Rantape the painting exhibition will be a good opportunity for many home owners to know more about painting and what it entails.
In the meantime the expo organisers intend to revamp its image next year after a careful and thorough evaluation of its three-year track-record.
This move is anticipated to bring more stakeholders on board. ENDS
