he public has been urged to take advantage of the Mascom Wireless newly introduced initiative TSENA an online community portal to share and consume information about Botswana on a one stop shop.

Mascom Wireless communication and public relations officer, Thato Moruti said TSENA allowed anyone to tell their own story’ regardless of their status or gender.

He made the plea during the creative writing, poetry awards ceremony and launching of the book by Donald Molosi titled We are all Blue.

Students from different schools took part in creative writing of short stories and Moruti said they could use the initiative to share their stories with the world at large.

“With this portal, we aim to play a sterling role in sharing your unique stories locally and internationally.

Our influence to telling your stories of the arts, people, societies, abilities, food and talent across this country and the world outside should be ascribed to the convergence of great minds in a one stop shop called TSENA,” he added.

Moruti, who is also the project manager said Botswana has a lot to offer in terms of content and bringing that into a one stop shop were the whole world could learn about  more easily would be more impactful and engaging.

For his part, an official of Department of Secondary Education, Keogotse Ketlogetswe appreciated the sponsors and organisers of the event.

He noted that children are important human resource and they must be nurtured and developed in something exciting.

Ketlogetswe said the event gave students a platform to reflect and grab the opportunity on their way in creative writing adding that the event came at the right time when learners were preparing for their final examinations.

He said the event would motivate them to excel in their studies.

However, he congratulated winners for their sterling performance. About ten top three were awarded gifts by TSENA team. ENDS
